I am hoping to find a well loved 612 to love some more.

    Thanks,

There are issues with it but I am not sure if they are significant enough that they should turn me away... first, the electro chromatic roof is not working; second, it needs a major service.

    Thoughts?

My distant memory is that roof fix was about $20,000. I had seen that car online. Definitely a different price point than other OTOs. Have you seen it?

I am heading down to see it later in the week and am trying to arrange to have a DC area master tech to give a PPI.

i don't think 20K is a lifetime, especially not for 612s. i believe the engine is regarded as relatively trouble-free and the cars in general are reasonable with regard to maintenance costs. i would imagine that mileage matters most for special edition, collectable cars. that's not the 612. it's a GT car now several generations old. it should be expected to have issues from time to time, but also give a great deal of performance at an approachable price point.

pretty much none- it's still at 175xx i believe. i can give an exact number this evening if you'd like. the original listing says i bought in 2016 but on further thought i think it was actually summer of 2017- apologies for that error (and for misspelling scaglietti right off the bat, ugh).
