Hi Guys, Yesterday we received parts to refinish for the 612 Sessanta. Ironically, they use the same rubber transmission buttons that 430 / 599 and Alfa 8C use. Slightly different graphics that we will be replicating. We are going to convert these or replace them with our new injection molded hard button switch assemblies like shown here: The wiring appears to be exactly the same but we will be examining the circuit boards and wiring to be certain. What is different is the wire length within the harness since the buttons are laid out in a triangle pattern within the trim vs. inline. So, we are considering producing a run of these for stock but before we do, it would be good to know the need. If you own one of these cars, please post here or contact me. Just 60 Sessantas were supposedly produced. As only a subset of that total would need/be aware of your switches, that would seem to be a pretty thin market. Interesting that the Sessanta has a different arrangement for the switches than the earlier 612s and later 612 OTOs. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hi Don, So, based on what we received, the switches are rubber - exactly like the 430 / 599. We will be ether replacing or retrofitting the ones we received. The only difference is the wire length within the harness and the F1-S graphic which we will have replicated any day now. That said, to do a run of 60 assemblies is no issue for us. Side note - we are also doing another custom color match for what is called Terra Bruciata
