I don't like the Maserati-like headlights, and I don't like the fact that it sort of looks like a Corvette. Also, this has got to be the first Ferrari in a long time that doesn't have any vents in any part of the body. The last one I can think of is the 412 2+2. I think that's part of teh reason why this doesn't look very sporty. Even the 456 had those side vents that made it look special. This just doesn't look special.
Err, the 365 GT/4 2+2 right through until the 412 have air exit vents on the bonnet. But I agree that the 612 is blah!. The 456 was awesome looking but the 612 is as plain looking as the new Maserati coupes!, and upstaged by the orginal 2+2, 365 GT/4. Pete
There's just no way to be diplomatic about it - it's nasty. The front is especially hideous; makes me think of a squashed Cayenne for some reason. I assume I'll see it in person in January at the Detroit Auto Show - I guess there's a chance that it'll be nice in person (?), but I doubt it.
I think it reminds me an awful lot of the 550. BTW, the original 2+2 was the 250GTE, which I'm sure was derided when it was new as well.
I needs the 456's side vents. Also it needs to be lower, wider, and the wheel gap has to be less. Image Unavailable, Please Login
If it was what I said, like these quick photoshops, the car looks soo much better. See: Image Unavailable, Please Login
