Well, if you want a hint at what is possible from an acceleration perspective (with an unlimited budget) you can get a pretty good idea from watching top fuel dragsters.

These things achieve 0-60 mph in 0.4 seconds and get to 100 mph in less than 1 second. They get to 315 mph in just over 3 heartbeats.

If a moderator wants to change title to 750, that would be less confusing.

So, did my second tour at Woking- they are just great at making a customer feel valued. My dealer must have tipped them off that I was looking to spec a 750. End of tour comes, I and my son were invited back by two of the MSO team- spec session commences. What an experience - my 14 yo son said it was the coolest thing ever (better than watching his favorite team win a basketball college national championship in person, which had him in tears…).

When they send some pdfs, I’ll post them- pretty low key spec.

That's weird, I don't remember Mizzou winning the college championship recently. :)

What an amazing experience for you and your son! You guys will remember that forever, for various reasons. Can we see the spec? Congratulations on the 750 and good on McLaren and your dealer for putting everything together!

When I get their pics, I’ll post them, but since this is a quiet section…. I’ll post up the plan

Volcano orange with volcano blue pin stripes (these are on the front splitter, side view mirrors and rear diffuser). Blue on underside of rear wing.
    Diamond cut turbine wheels
    Black pack
Interior is black tech package with contrast blue stitching. Blue McLaren symbol in headrest. Comfort seats. Upgrade sound system.
    Engine window
No carbon fiber anywhere, no fender louvers.
I had specified smoked McLaren badge, but I understand that is crazy price - $10K. If true, not doing that.

I have not received pricing on any of the above, so subject to change. I want a no bling car, more elegant than boy racer (same way I intend to spec a Roma, if they ever actually call me).

Very cool. I’m doing an mso spec session in September/October. Always have an idea of what I want to do. Probably some sort of velocity paint job: excited
About the car and will be a good compliment to my 765. This likely won’t be a long term keepe for me but shall see.

Some of the MSO paint jobs are awesome, can’t recall their names- my favorite had some subtle hexagons. I don’t like black cars, but black base with Tokyo cyan or orange graphic looks awesome.

    Hexagon is Dyad.

I swear man Mclaren makes it so much fun. Their spec sessions are awesome and you don’t need to blow a goat to get set up with one.

I am torn on the fender louvers- both MSO and dealer are telling me “everyone” is ordering them. I prefer the cleaner fender without them.
Is this simple aesthetic for some or is this unique to 765/750 so as to be a differentiator from a “normal” 720? (Yes I know there is a relief of pressure which nominally helps downforce- I don’t intend to track this much, definitely not looking for the last 0.5s in a lap)

Edit: those blacked out badges are ~$10K, I won’t keep those, just silly.

What was the price on the louvers? I dont recall. To me, if you are doing louvers, should be contrasting and not body color. I like em but certainly not a necessity.

I think I’m skipping on mine. Gonna put the money into a special paint job and mso interior.
It’s funny cause on my 675 roof scoop thread- I’m contemplating buying fenders that have louvers from mso. Lol

    Limited pinstripes- $14K
contrast stitch in blue - $7K, steering wheel 12 o’clock marker- $3K, McLaren symbol in blue in head rests- $2.4K
    $40K before anything else…

My 765 is a bargain compared to what happened to pricing. Everyone doing lots of mso stuff which is fun/makes the cars unique and special.

I’m probably going with a velocity type paint job- mso interior. Not too much else but those two things will give good bang for the buck.

This won’t be a long term keeper for me like the 765 spider I have. I’ll keep it a couple of years and probably trade in for the 720 replacmeent that’s probably put in 2026 or so.

Btw- 7k for contrast stitching or 15k for a full blown custom mso inteiror where you can pretty much do anything. It’s the best bang for buck. Look into it.

Why are you posting on a thread about a car of which you obviously have no interest in? What are you trying to prove?
