Can anyone help me identify this light on my left instrument panel above the front bonnet opening lever?

There is an electric clock on the left (currently out for repair), and an oil temperature gauge on the right. Below is an orange light that I'm unable to identify on any 308 instrument / control maps. The folks at my Ferrari shop (some who own 308s) do not know what it is, and have only seen it once before. Maybe its aftermarket, but I'm unsure what it is telling me. It will turn on after driving a while, but seemingly pretty random. From my pov, not necessarily after the car is well warmed up, more like 30m into a drive (after additional warm-up).

    Can anyone give any insight?

    Thank you!

Has to be something that someone added. Never seen anything like it in any of the F documentation/schematics. Does the wiring going to it look stock F or obviously not stock F? Also, what version 1979 308GTB? US, euro, something else?

Possibly someone previously installed a security alarm?

My first thought is alarm. My car had a red light installed in the center console assembly that was tied to an old alarm system. If it were my car, I’d probably trace the wires and if I found it to be non-factory, remove it. If it’s a car alarm those are next to useless these days anyways, more of a hassle than they’re worth
