Does anyone in UK have confirmed delivery date ? I understand dealer demonstrators are due to arrive in about 5 weeks. Incidentally I assume these are effectively "stock" as there seems little point demonstrating a model that is sold out !
Information from the picture thread is that 6 US spec cars have now been built (thank you Mr Massini) along with a few RHD. Probably all Dealer Demonstrators (I understand UK dealers are expecting to receive their demonstrators in the next 4 weeks).Q2 2018 still seems like best bet for first UK customer cars. Surprised price list is not out for US yet.Seems like waiting times in US will be even longer than RHD markets.
Ok I just submitted what I wanted on the car based on the F12 list and figured they would tell me about any changes. Il have to follow up.
I have heard from 4 different dealers, all very different in size that they were "probably" getting one a month. Dealers typically receive 15% of their overall sales in V12s. Not sure it that's 15% for 812 + 15% for Lusso or 15% overall, but numbers would suggest that it is 15 + 15.
Going to the atelier next week to spec the 812. Dealer says it doesn't mean anything in terms of when I will get a build slot. How do atelier slots get prioritised then?
From my understanding Atelier does not confer any prioritisation on the order-that is still the responsibility of your dealer
At the factory or the dealer ? Don't think it makes any real difference except that you are likely to be further up the dealer's list if they have booked you in at the factory.
That makes sense as I have no real standing with my dealer and this is the first car I am ordering through them.
Just heard from my dealer my 812 Superfast is Status 30, which means it's being painted, Pozzi Blue. I can't wait to see the factory production photos.
Status 40 yesterday, no photos yet of my Pozzi 812 on the production line, should be finished this week.
I am at status 60 and still no photos - not sure what's going on but it appears there some large delays on these
I think 50 goes by very quickly so I expect you might be very close behind. I went for Grigio SIlverstone Sabbia Grigio Chiaro stitch Lift and lights Full electric seats Carbon wheel with LEDs Shields Giallo callipers Standard wheels How about you?
Blu Pozzi Shields Matt Silver TDF Wheels Aluminum Calipers Carbon front spoiler and rear exhaust surround Blue Pozzi on lower exterior sills instead of carbon or black plastic Interior Blue Sterling Leather with Daytona seats in Couio with Blue Stripes and center door cutout in Couio White Rev Counter Lifts and Lights Full Electric Seats Passenger Display Lots of interior carbon including wheel with lights HiFi Sound
Questions to you guys my 812 shows in myferrari site does this mean that it got accepted in modis? Also, approximately how many months before you guys saw a change in the status for your 812s? Thanks any input would be appreciated.
My Ferrari usually indicates Ferrari has acknowledged receipt of your order but may not have given it an actual production slot. It usually starts at Modis status black 10 which still allows changes to your specification until it becomes status red 10. My order was shown on My Ferrari in June and went into production in late October.
Here is my spec: Exterior: Rosso Corsa Interior: Nero Carpets: Nero Options: LOGO = shields RSFD = 20" diamond forged wheels ACPL = apple car play CALB = glossy black brake calipers RSFE = full electric seat CLDT (Rosso) = coloured inner leather details CIDL = carbon fiber steering wheel and driving zone STC2 (Rosso) = stitching EMPH (Rosso) = stitched horse on seat RPMY = yellow RPM gauge PAC3 = front and rear cameras ELEV = suspension lifter SNDB = upgraded stereo AFS2 = adaptive headlight system
Spoke to the dealer in the UK and asked why we weren't getting any cars while Australia is. Those early RHD cars are part of the production ramp-up and quality control, and a larger UK market will follow. As for demonstrators, they are not seeing any coming anytime soon. I suppose makes sense that they are in no hurry when the production for the ext few years is already sold out.
At least some of the larger UK dealers have their demonstrators.Unusually it appears they were not able to spec them themselves though.
Thanks for the info guys - looking at the market this is one hot machine being sold out and no real allocations - I should consider myself lucky then! From experience, since it's on myferrari site - should I expect to see a change in status to a Black or Red 10 in like in 5-6 months? Thanks again!
