Early success in America was a credit to Luigi Chinetti...

If Ferrari actually listened to other markets they would delete GPF where it is not required.
Most especially on a low volume expensive 'send off' model series.

Yes Rosso Nearco on the 1972 365 GTC/4 there. That Ferrari from a collector who became more famous for his 'blue' Ferrari collection.

Absolutely true, I was fortunate enough to have a near one on one lunch with Leonardo Fioravanti a few years ago and his views on car design are fascinating, Simplicity was mentioned often in the conversation as all as functionality and elegance.

As said before factory people will go from dealer to dealer to show a teaser but nothing will be handed out. All one can do is look for a few secs at the teaser.
As for a "reveal", it is not (end of) March or April yet.

I believe Leonardo Fioravanti is one of the best Italian designers, when you look at his work ,particularly the Ferrari's he designed while at Pininfarina they capture the essence of the marque in a beautiful way.

My personal opinion is that Manzoni and his design team have done a fantastic job on the majority of the cars. Whether there was a one off or the limited series , or regular production cars , most people would say most of the time most angles are mostly pleasing to the eye. Most would say the overall style and appearance was undoubtedly recognizable as Ferrari...and stunning ....

I’m hoping on the VS that certain aspects (in particular the rear and bonnet) provide an aggressive angular stance compared to the rounded beautiful curves of the Superfast.

I was hoping for a purely cosmetic glass/Perspex bonnet cover to showcase the V12 as in the TRS but seems that was v wishful thinking !

Colours /stripes /non stripes /interiors will all start being properly discussed from this week .....

Anyone else get a notification through my Ferrari? Just curious if those that felt they were in a reasonable spot have heard or not. Thx!

The 365 looks so advanced and modern against the other cars in the background. I know it was not so well thought of in style terms but it has aged so well, especially for a four seater.

Ah, since you mentioned that, shouldn't that be "otorhinolaryngology"? From the Greek oto ("ώτο" meaning "ear"), rhino (ρίνο, meaning nasal), laryng(as) (well, meaning larynx - which is the old Greek word with the same meaning) and finally the suffix "-logos", which means "speech or reason", but which loosely translates to "expert". The otorhinolaryngolist is the expert in the science of otorhinolaryngology, itself a division of medicine. Cheers. :)

    Flashback,,,,,,,

I remember going to the dealership when we bought my mom a Fiat 124 station wagon and I saw my first Ferrari on the dealership floor- a rosso cordoba 365 GTC/4. The shiny "Ferrari" on the trunk has been etched in my mind ever since..........

Excellent summary. I agree with all your assessments so far on the designs that were completed at Marzoni‘s hand.

You are correct - the actual name should be Otorhinolaryngology but here in the U.S. we got lazy and dropped the rhino to make it easier…even though it’s still not easy haha

In the U.S. the full specialty name is “Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery” … but we also have about 10 different names for the various subspecialties… and that’s why people have just given up and call it “ENT” - Ear, Nose, and Throat

Nada yet. My dealer is going through a transition of ownership so not sure if that’s an issue. Will ping them tomorrow.
