I wonder if the test mule spotted in the Autocar Pista video is connected ? Might be we need a new thread for this.Any news on VS version of 812 ?
could be a hybrid version. Would make sense to start electric engine with the versatile all day Portofino.
Its clearly not a 812 derivative so maybe needs posting in the 488 section too - appears to be some sort of engine mule
Sounds right.Given focus on open top Ferraris at PB this year my money would be on some sort of "private" reveal of Pista Aperta at PB followed by full launch at Frankfurt in Sept. As they don't have to do any more marketing to sell them all bit irrelevant anyway. Will be really interesting to find out how many 812 VS will be made when it is launched. If it is last unassisted V12 I would have thought demand would be off the scale !
Ooops ! I'd forgotten it was Biennial.Must be a Paris show this year.Do Ferrari launch new models there ?
Never been to Paris show so really not sure. PB makes sense and is a great place to launch the car. Also since I think Southeby's are auctioning a 250GTO seems apt
Pista Aperta will probably be launched at Paris - Then next years Geneva we'll see the 488 Replacement
812 Monza being mooted as name.I like it but not as much as MM. Knowing Ferrari I would be amazed if name had actually been chosen yet.
I think it would be an excellent time for a V12 roadster or aperta .. in the last years we had the barchetta then superamerica .. then the 599GTO , the the F12TDF... seem it would be an excellent time to do a V12 open car.. figure they have this folding hardtop down pretty good now and the 812 makes plenty of power... I thin an open V12 would be fantastic call it an LE....if you must...
Lets not forget that marcel indicated loooooong time ago that there will be an aperta version of the super fast.
