I will assume this is a sure sign to walk away. When you close the door you have to either slam it {hard} or pull up. On both doors, the drivers side is a little worse.
HA! You have to be kidding me! I was reading up on them before I went and didn't recall seeing that year. Guess what... This car is at a dealership!
'77 was their first year. I should call the city and see if they can shut this guy down. He has a lot of "high class" cars and has a rep for buying damaged cars from around the US and Canada. I was just taking a peek, trying to sort out the field. But this won't help me. Thanks.
76 in the U.K i dont think the parts are interchangable with the earlier 365 as the wheelbase is different on both models, sounds like a ringer to me.
Can you PM me with details, even if just a city? I've been looking for a BBi and want to make sure it's not someone I've been talking to. Although a '73 512BB would of tripped even my alarm bells. Although I've seen very few 365 BB's for sale in North America. Supposedly most have gone overseas. Thx!
From what I have read there wasn't even a 365GT4BB Boxer in 1973! The 365GT4BB was made from 1974-1976, the BB512 from 1976-1980 and the BB512i from 1981-1984. However, some BB512s made in 1980 were sold as 1981 models .
Ferrari geared up for production of the 365 GT4 BB in 1973, The majority of the cars were produced from 1974-1976. The 365 GT4 BB serial #'s range from chassis #17301 to the final chassis #19701... I would not necessarily run from the car because of the doors, they can be shimmed, how was the rest of the car? While I never got into the triple theme on the rear of the 365, they sure are a blast.
