Just finished watching, for the 15th time, the absolutely marvelous French film "A Man and a Women." For those who wish to see spectacular vintage footage of LeMans and glorious Ferraris, I strongly suggest that you go out now, yes at this moment, and rent this film in its original (French) version. It was an independent film that won many awards when released in 1966. Great shots of testing of the GT40, and great LeMans 24 hour and Monte Carlo rally footage. I was in college when it first came out, and it was this film that created the romance of the GT40 for me. It is, in my opinion, one of the best films ever directed (a simple love story with just the right amount of technical racing footage). Sorry to bore those who prefer Bad Boys, or Gone in 60 Seconds, but this is really a classic. Jim S.
