    Question is whether it'll be a real manual or a simulated manual. One would be cool, the other is - to me - gimmicky. Hope it'll be a real, gated manual.

    What would this look like? Replace the paddles with a gated H-pattern, but with two pedals and the mechanical underpinnings unchanged?

    It strikes me that this would please no one. Many clients think the idea of a manual in a modern Ferrari is silly, so they'll be unimpressed regardless. But for those pining for a manual, this wouldn't scratch the analog itch.

    My bet is that we won't get a half measure. Ferrari will do a "proper" manual, or they won't do it at all. But, we'll see!

    Interesting. If it actually relinquishes control of the clutch to the driver, that's cool. If it's just a charade, I don't really get the point. Maybe I'm the outlier though.

    I'm not eligible for an Icona, so it's all academic in my case.
