For Sale A.T.O.M Jaguar XKE SIII Go Kart

    This is a beautiful vintage go kart.

    It is an A.T.O.M Junior E-Type built in Europe in the 1980's (it is built in a SIII style)

    It has a fine running 83cc gas Honda engine

    It has a manual gearbox, and shifts great. It has two forward speeds, with a working clutch, and a reverse gear.

    It has disc brakes and stops quite well!

    It is a composite body (fiberglass) over a steel frame. I have 3 of the 4 hubcaps, sadly we lost one in transit ... :/

    Over the last year, my shop has done the following:

    -removed body, and re-wired the whole go kart

    -new battery

    -new horn

    -new turn signal relays

    -re-painted the exhaust pipes

    -buffed the entire British Racing Green body.

    The paint shows well, there are some blemishes in it, and a few small hairline cracks. Some of the exterior “bright work” has been glued back together too (spares are NLA…sadly)

    It is available for inspection and pickup in New Milford, CT, or I can help arrange global/CONUS shipping.

    $7,750 takes it

    I like weird stuff :)

    I have a Pajero Mini, a couple Mini Trucks (12 more on the boat from Japan :) another E34 M5 'driver', a E92 LRP edition M3, 3 E30 M3s, a 89 E30 S52 swap, '92 GTI, '85 Rabbit, E36 M3. Gotta keep it interesting :)

    Call it $600 to ship. It’ll prob cost me a bit more but that’s ok. I’d likely build a nice little 2x4 crate for it. Lmk

    Good question. Really not sure. It weighs about 170lbs. 83cc 4-stroke. I am too big to try it lol

    (the mini trucks do about 70mph tops. Terrifying :)

    Fantastic machine. Who made these? I believe you got them with many types of bodies! I sat in one "930 Turbo" when I was a kid. I remember the steering wheel and gear lever. Was lits of fun!

    They denied it last month.
    In fact, using my personal handle, I haven’t been able to get them to accept much of anything in the past 6 months.

    So they'll take a Pinto, a Bobcat, or a Cavalier but not this. Not sure I understand how they pick which cars to take or not. o_O Cars and bids doesn't do many collectibles like this but might be worth a shot.
