I am finally getting pieces put back on this cat after a repaint 10 years ago.
It is an amazing car which lost its engine at 8075 miles and has spent 60 years sitting mostly in covered carports in the desert southwest.
I cleaned the interior out a couple days ago and vacuumed the original carpets, just to get rid of the mess, and they are actually in remarkable shape. Still soft and pliable and not faded with some small sections that need to be, Image Unavailable, Please Login and can be, restored.
I had the bumpers and some other small bits rechromed but most of the original 63 year old Italian chrome is polishing nicely and looks great.
It is fun working on a car which requires so little actual restoration.

A very elegant design. Has it got back its engine?
