A few threads for your review - a Volvo S70 or S80 space saver spare wheel/tire is a cheap way to get a spare tire, they use the same 5x108 bolt pattern as the 308/328. Space saver size 125/80-17 is the same diameter as the stock 308 tires.

3 caveats, both covered in those threads (see my posts in those threads)
- the locator pins on the brake rotors interfere with the Volvo hub face, you need to drill holes in the Volvo wheel for the locator pins to protrude.
- The hub bore of the Volvo spare wheel fits over the front hubs, but will not fit over the larger rear hub bore. The solution if you get a flat at the back - put the spare tire on the front, move the front wheel to the back to replace the flattened rear wheel/tire (Ferrari wheels have a stepped bore and fit over both the front and rear hubs)
- the center of the Volvo steel wheel is much thinner than the Ferrari alloy wheels - and the Ferrari lug nuts are too long to secure the Volvo wheel. You need to pick up 5 shorter 14x1.5 taper lug bolts to carry in the car just for the space saver spare wheel.

Regarding getting a regular Volvo or Ford wheel (your 2 options for the same bolt pattern) - the 308 wheels have a very low offset, and most all the other regular wheels have a higher offset and won't fit in the wheel well properly (will contact shock absorber/spring)

Or you could do what I did and buy a can of tyre foam and a 12v compressor. For the rare occasion you might get a flat - it's enough to get you out of jail

 

I have the same setup and the original spare. Why not just use the original wheel and put a new tire on it if you want? Unless you are not wanting to buy a new tire for that rim.

In that case I'd get another one from superformance and complete the set.

make sure you get the larger hub bore... and if you have to use it on the smaller hub dont drive very fast or get a ring.

 

Yes, the front hub diameter is smaller than the rear hub diameter. Ferrari wheels use a stepped bore with the larger diameter rear hub size inset into the deeper but smaller diameter to match the front hubs.

The larger hub bore isn't absolutely necessary - if you have a rear flat tire, put the smaller hub bore spare wheel/tire on the front, then put the front wheel on the rear. Factory wheels will fit. It's an extremely unsafe and dangerous idea to try to get by with the smaller bore wheel wobbling along on the rear hub without being flush and tightened/clamped on properly by the lug bolts!!

@Speedsterbeast Based on your originally stated objectives, I would recommend Coker or Longstone (no affliliations) and just purchase a new tire for your original 390mm wheel.
