Grumpy after missing FCA breaky this morning... have to pick Bambi up from the workshop tomorrow which will give an idea if I can get in the 308 for a local drive on Tuesday - not overly optimistic at present. Can't really stay in any position for more than an hour; have to rotate walk, sit, supine...lucky I have some comfy chairs. But still , better than what the outcome could have been- we lost one of our body surfers 6 years ago in a not-dissimilar circumstance...
Better each day but I overcooked it yesterday (250m pool swim, hour or so shopping, 40km round trip drive to a meeting where the 1.5hr sitting did me in...) should be fine in a couple of weeks. No ocean swim as the bottom is very uneven at present and pretty rough on the edges; don’t want to get bowled over. Just happy there’s no permanent damage; and thanks for asking!
Definitely not- I’m considered the lazy slob of our swimming bunch! And I can also say fitness does nothing to stop an injury like this, but it does help with dealing with it.
