Fell in love with the Miura SV #5085 myself.

Thought it would have more cars overall but was still very nice.

Excellent pictures. I keep telling myself that I am going to check out the Amelia Island Concours, yet each year I can't seem to make it down there.

It always seems to be a beautiful event with a great turnout.

 

not that it matters but i'm still in the process of getting videos up... but i have some already up.

I put a bunch (60 or so) video clips up last night, mostly from the morning "dawn patrol" drive in, short videos mostly. Several of the Ferraris were towed in, so I did not get videos of them. 2 Corvette Grand Sports (of 5 made), VERY impressive. Only one Lambo. Most common cars there were probably Rolls Royce, Bentley, Duesenberg, and Ferrari. Wonderful show, if totally disorganized... we got there early, and the flaggers were always yelling, didn't seem to know what to do... then we tried to go in the field, and they told us the place we were going was not an entrance and we had to go down the hill, so we went down the hill, and they said since we already had tickets the entrance was back up the hill where we were to begin with. Schedule on the web said the gates open at 9, tickets said 9:30, and they actually started letting people in around 9:45.. BUT it was worth it.

Thanks for the comment, You got some good stuff up there too. It's so much better to be able to HEAR cars, rather than just see them. To anyone that can drag themselves out of bed before dawn, I *HIGHLY* recommend going to the "dawn patrol" and watching the cars pull out onto the green. We were all in sensory overload being surrounded by revving trans-am cars, rumbling duzys, screaming Ferraris.
I'm a huge fan of the vintage racing scene, another place to get up close and personal with these wonderful pieces of art..

 

I was going to... with my media pass and everything but I didn't know how early they pulled out and I got there at 8:30 (i could have gotten there as early as 7 [maybe earlier]) Oh well. I like your corvette one the most. I loved listening to those trans-ams.
