You all were kind to not overly criticize my butchering of the history of the 512, I thought I would provide these pictures sent to me today. I do not believe there will be much debate over the authenticity of this "Bad-Boy." In a previous thread I mentioned a gentleman (yes, the same gentleman as the 512M) who had acquired Schumacher's 1998 F1. This generous man is a former racer (60s and 70s) and now races F1 Vintage. Look for him in this car across Europe this summer, and Monterey in August. It's really difficult to have my garage next to his, as I can get little done when he fires these beasts up. Great guy, most have seen at Crystal Cove on Saturday mornings.

    Have fun.

Fantastic photos Jim! Thanks for sharing those!

Were they taken at the special shop down the street from the factory, that caters to customers of "older" F1 cars? Not sure of its name, but there was an article about this shop in a previous issue (I think) of Car & Driver.

Sorry Peter, I could tell you, but then I would have to kill you.

I really do not know where at the factory they were taken. I will find out.
