    For aviation history buffs, there are highlights at Sun ’n Fun. The last remaining Doolittle Raider, Dick Cole, will be presenting at the Warbird ramp. He was co-pilot to famed World War II aviator James Doolittle during the April 18, 1942, bombing run on Tokyo, the first American strike on Japanese soil.

    I did a painting of Doolittle's take off from the carrier, Hornet, that was supposed to be featured at the American Airlines Gala,Sky Ball last November 11. It was commissioned and delivered but they misplaced it somewhere in their storage room and it was never shown. It was retrieved and presented to the Cole family and Dick. By the way, he is 102+ years old now and still active.

    Yes, as far as I know. They had one last year and it keeps getting bigger from what I hear.

    Well, I have tried to post images of the painting and portrait but i keep being rejected because of " A security problem" They are smaller than 5MB. What?

    The weather got pretty bad yesterday in Orlando. Hopefully the planes in Lakeland were okay after the storms.
