You know... Glasgow is lovely this time of year.* :D

    All the best,
    Andrew.

    * When it's not raining, bitterly cold, or horrendously windy. Or when the local Mafia has refrained from carrying out hits on their rivals in broad daylight. Oh, and if you avoid the M8... it's the most congested road in Scotland. And be careful on the back roads because the potholes are absolutely huge. And careful where you leave your car, as even Mercs and BMWs get keyed by socialist psychopaths. On second thought, Glasgow is a stupid place for a Ferrari meet... and I don't even have a Ferrari (yet). You know what? Let's pretend I never started speaking, that way I can save some dignity. Yea, that works for me.

Yeh a nice drive down the Gallowgate and we could probably take in Maryhill, Steps and Springburn what a drive out that would be.

However, Glasgow to Aberfoyle and Callander, that would be a great drive out.

Oh, are you in Scotland? :D

As for Springburn, well... I'm in and adjoining Bishopbriggs - not exactly a garden spot. My immediate neighbours are very friendly, but you certainly wouldn't want to leave a Ferrari outside my house, there are some more sinister folks living a few doors further down.

Actually, the Trossachs Trail (I think that's the road you're alluding to) is one of my favourite drives out, nice twisting roads... just don't leave them or you'll slide down a great big hill. Unfortunately, it's closed right now with all the snow... completely ungritted, impassably treacherous, and when I tried to do it after a bit of a thaw I eventually met a point about 3/5ths of the way around where the snow was piled up in front of the road and met the 'road closed' signs.

The A82 up to Fort William isn't a bad road either. I did that road on my birthday two years ago (just an aimless drive away from Glasgow with GPS to find the way back) and it was great.

Just curious... if anyone does doe a Trossachs Trail drive, are these things restricted to current Ferrari owners only or can aspiring owners join in with whatever they happen to own at the time?

    All the best,
    Andrew.

My Grandparents were from Balornock and many many years ago i worked in Aberfoyle.
I have often thought that Glasgow, Drymen, Aberfoyle, Callander, Stirling and Glasgow would make a good drive out.
