I had the Escort Redline installed in my 296 GTS by a high end audio/radar installation company in Scottsdale. Works great. Laser shifters, radar not visible on the outside of the car. Great unit. $6K USD installed.

Sorry, the car has been listed for sale and is at the dealership now. Am awaiting GTS, reached NJ port a week or two back, expected anytime. CarTunes in Roswell GA did such an awesome job hiding all the sensors behind the front and back grill and mounting the small thin USB thumb drive size display with controls on the bottom edge of dash panel, that you'll have to look hard to spot it. Having said that, they have recommended Uniden system for my incoming GTS and 2026 Macan GTS (also expected around the same time). Apparently, the Uniden system has few more additional features, compared to Radenso 360, and the alerts display can be mounted within rear view mirror housing, behind the mirror.

Just be careful when adding a system that requires removal of the front grill. I had an Escort system installed and after that there were numerous issues - not with the radar - with the car's electronics. The dealer indicated that when the front grill is removed, recalibration is required for front camera and other sensors. This was true for a 23 296 GTS. I now have a 2025 296 GTS and am not going to have an installed detector added. Since it is only driven once or twice a week, I can use Waze or a windshield mounted detector to handle the situation. I'm also not sure how the detector may create additional drain on the battery and affect other electronics in this car. Better safe than sorry so I'm not doing the installed version this time. I can also save $6K by going the other way.

For me the laser jamming (legal in GA) feature is very important and hence the need for all the sensors in the front and back for a 360-degree coverage. Laser jammer has saved me from jail time at least 4 times in the past 2 years. I did have a parking sensor issue in the back that the dealer blamed on the radar / jammer system. However, I made the aftermarket installer completely uninstall the system and prove to the dealer the issue was unrelated, and they replaced the faulty sensor. Uninstalling ($1100), reinstalling ($2,200) and dealer diagnostics ($2,200) costed me $5,500.00. I am sincerely hoping we don't have any such issues this time around as the installer has worked on several 296's since they worked on my GTB (first 296 they ever worked on).

My installer quoted me $15-16K (Radenso). Seems insane, but they are the best around Sarasota FL. They really do the best install- invisible- removal without any sign or damage and manically tested to make sure they work properly. What to do?

Its 8 to 10k installed in GA. Attention to detail and stealth like you say. 15 to 16K seems on the higher side but they see the prancing horse and anything goes.

Actually I did have issues with the car after the installation. The detector worked but the car had resulting calibration issues. See my previous post.

12k for a radar install is beyond absurd. and dealing with these dealers who have a built in fleecing mechanism to make money is criminal.

not worth doing anything to these cars.

That makes $16k that much crazier. Of course I want to keep my license. What’s that worth?

bro- if you drive in a way that you think you're gonna need to spend that much in lawyer fees to come out even over the time you own/drive the car then you've got probs lol.

Bro- One ticket in Florida over 100MPH could be 30 days in jail. What’s that worth? These are very capable cars.
