I have developed a small leak in my radiator. I have it yanked out and ready to take in. I just need to find a place to take it. Any recommendations? Preferably up north/Cedar Park area, but Ill drive further for someone good and trustworthy.

    thanks,
    Aaron

I'd give Moorespeed a call, 512 474-7223 and see who they use.....

Isn't that what David has too? He should certainly know where to get it done.

Colvin Automotive is another great shop in town. They have worked on your Ferrari before.

Any good rad shop should be able to fix it for 100 bucks!

No need to get a middleman involved.

If you have it out, just take it and drop it off.

Thanks for the info and recommendations. I had planned on calling Moorespeed and seeing who they recommended, but I had not thought of Colvin. Ill give them a ring as well.

Colvin just did mine...it was cheap and great! Tell them Ryan Fox sent you...they are working a few of my friends cars right now...first class and VERY affordable.

Colvin recommended DNT. Performance radiator (who only sells new stuff now) also recommended DNT. I havent made it through to Moorespeed yet. I called DNT and they said they could fix it for $50! Seems kinda cheap... But 2 recommendations?

FYI, almost every Ferrari radiator we had fixed at DNT without exception had to be taken back multiple times because they would not pass our pressure testing. The last one, we ended up fixing their repairs in house. For plastic cap radiators (newer style) we've never had an issue with them/DNT.

For the older 12 cylinder and 308 type radiators, we now use an old school shop down the street on Airport BLVD, but they are cash only....no checks or cc. Their repairs have been spot on.
