Anyone know the trade-in/wholesale value of a 550?

    Hello everybody,

    I recently retired and want to slim down to one car, so the 308/550 are to be sold or traded. I heard through the grapevine that wholesale is around 70k for a 99 550 with about 30k miles (what I have). Sounds absurdly low. I would like to trade for another car but not at that price. Does anyone know the current trade-in values?

    I follow the market almost daily and I see 550s sitting quite a lot. I think you can get a bit more than 70k even as a trade-in but not sure if it would be 80 or 90. Also depends what you want trade it towards. Assuming you're wanting to deal with the hassle, you can list it yourself and get at least 10k more than trade-in.

    Find someone to sell it for you and take a small % of the sale price or something like that. You could probably get 85K pretty fast assuming it has good history and a clean title You could also list it here which limits the pool and people tend to be more serious.

    Wholesale can be hit or miss. It will be lower compared to any private sale obviously. The 550 is in an odd place in the market, the doldrums. Not a highly collectible last manual only V12 Ferrari, yet not a new modern F12 wonder.
