Hi Guys, I am the lucky and happy customer from Hong Kong. My car was so sticky as I bought a garage queen in a humid climate. I had a full refinish of the car's sticky components (more than 20 pieces) and the quality of the service and the product is 1A. Now it's back to the garage and I hope the guys do a good job in reinstalling all the components without damage. Thanks for the good job Dave and let me know when you have a solution for that reverse button!!! Also, if someone can tell me how to remove the plastic luggage strips, Dave can do more work for me.
Much appreciated, Frank Thank you, Fransisco Hi Niccolo, we are very glad that you are pleased with our work. Thank you for the trust and support.
Just purchased a 599 from Ferrari of Houston. They had Dave do the work, and it's absolutely fabulous. Would highly recommend!
Thank you Much appreciated, Wayne Hi Bill - Ferrari of Houston is a power house dealer and they want the work done to extremely high standards. Andy is great to deal with - a total gentlemen. We are the exclusive re-finisher for them and we are happy to have their business. Looks amazing, can't wait to get this done. Dave has been very responsive with any questions I've had.
Thank you, both - much appreciated So here is a video we did to help illustrate the different types of soft touch coatings being used. In the video we talk about the white of our refinished parts being brighter than OEM cleaned parts. However, we did not capture that well, but in person, the difference can be seen. PS - sorry, I talk with my hands and should not do that in videos [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lm5CT9IEVAA[/ame]
Dave, I am currently looking at 599's and every single one has at least a few sticky buttons or the graphics are worn off. You should drive from dealer to dealer and fix them all. Get you out of Buffalo for awhile.
Troy, we are refinishing 599's like they are coming out of the woodwork We have several sets in house right now

How could 599 reverse buttons be a low priority? You mean there aren't enough in need to support your business? Just saw this thread again so I figured I'd ask. -Joe
Joe, the first step was 3D modeling the button - that is done. The next step was getting a flex agent for our coating - that is done. The material used for the button does not provide good coating adhesion so a new material must be selected and tested. Once that is done, we need to made a mold and them mold parts, coat them and laser. We have a list of perhaps 10 owners in need. Even at $200 per button (guessing on a price), that's still $2000.00. The development far exceeds that need and we are so busy it's tough to do it all. Also, not all 599's have rubber buttons - many have hard plastic and we refinish those
I was being facetious - totally understand the low priority. Hopefully it makes it into production one of these days. Thanks Dave, Joe
