looking for some insight and/or feedback on any AP owners here. Been looking over the 15400st for a while now, but after seeing more offshores lately, I have begun to look at them a little more. I already have a daily that I wear to in and out of work(Rolex milgauss) but was thinking that it would be nice to have a second that I can wear the same but not be similar to the milgauss.

Got a picture? Any other information you can share? How long have you had it, any issues, etc?

I prefer the "regular" RA to the Offshore. I have had a couple of different all steel, a steel on a strap, and a tantalum (sp?) and steel watch (which, if memory serves, was quartz). For my taste, the Offshore was too clunky. But as mentioned above - buy what you like.

I've got two AP Offshores. One is the new Safari, the other is the classic ROO Rubberclad. I love both in the way they fit on the wrist, the quality/precision, and they both look more substantial than many other watches. The Safari is only a few months old, but I've had the Rubberclad for nearly a decade and have never had an issue with it. Actually selling my ROO on these forums (link) to get a new ceramic style with rose gold.

Likewise, I too prefer the RO to the ROO. Here’s mine......Ultra thin Jumbo 39mm

the RO is so much more refined and all purpose. the ROO is a little much for anyone with normal to thin wrist.

Agreed, went to finally make good on my 15400 purchase to find out there is now a waiting list. Anyone else run into this? Here in the Chicago land area we only have 2 AP dealers, might have to find another.
