I don't think mods of questionable (to many F-chat loyalists anyway!) taste & Photoshop abominations are limited to F12 as you see from Mario's 612 pic, but I suspect that the most modern F-cars receive special attention from those who would shock us with their "improvements" to Ferrari design! F12 just doesn't look good with a big wing, IMO...T

Some of these cars are really hilarious. If you're doing a wrap then why not have some fun with it you can be as silly as you like and not ruin the car. If someone makes a bad wheel choice then no big deal as you can simply place some different wheels on it. However, the horrible body kits and suspension mods, these are really things that are hideous and atrocious especially as some of them really hinder and prevent the cars true performance which is the real value of this car.

While Luca di Montezemolo was in charge he always rejected unconditionally any Ferrari design which had wings and anything that resembled a tuned car. However times have changed and it seems that today aerodynamics command design so I wouldn't be surprise if Ferrari changes the paradigma. The F12 is a car with excellent aerodynamical figures and putting aside the chocking aesthetics of the body kits, you're right when you mentioned that they can only prevent the car true performance.

    Wow, it's crazy out there.

Those owners likely really care more about standing out of the crowd rather than the preserving the cars' true performance.

Outside Monte Carlo casino there are always expensive flashy sports cars that owners show-off to the jubilant public. I suspect that the F12 in the picture is an exception and to become unnoticed put on that camouflage.

Taste is something very personal, to say the least. [emoji51]

Some of these cars have "temporary " paint wraps, so I guess (hope) those transformations are temporary- for some event maybe. I hope.

However, the ones with the "enlargement " kits and huge rims... I can't find an explanation. I understand that it's always possible to improve things but I can't believe that those kits are more aerodynamic efficient or those huge rims will bring additional dynamic efficiency.

After all, Ferrari engineering and design are its main assets.

I haven't counted the exact number of F12s posted in this thread, but there are many. Extrapolating this number to other cars not documented, makes me think how the typical Ferrari owner is changing overtime.

Very interesting thread. Thank you Mário.

Ricardo thank you for your words and what you've just referred is very true and I couldn't agree more. However let me tranquilize you because I'm convinced the cars posted in this thread have no expression whatsoever in the F12's universe. As you mentioned, a part of them are wrapped and can always be reverted to the original paint color. Nonetheless all the others which have the body kits and the huge rims will probably stay that way and I wonder what will happen when the owner's will try to sell them. Not sure if there will be many potential buyers.

No way this belongs here ... It's far too subtle and tasteful. I'd prefer red highlights to yellow but this is a very hot look.

LOL The car wasn't delivered yet to the new owners but there are already a good number of pictures around which could start that thread. Because such a thread would put all the blame on Ferrari I think no one wants that.
