Thats awesome man! I have 60,000 miles to go I just got mine, what type of insurance do you have and whats it cost bc Im on a special policy with state farm but I can only drive 2500 miles a year but its cheap $940/year, my wife's mini cooper is $1000 every 6 months so I feel lucky! It's under their classic car policy. Do you have it insured as just a regular car with unlimited miles?

That's fantastic! I buy 'em to drive 'em because tomorrow I may die. I'm coming up on 28K miles in Ferraris. :)

I managed to get $16XX/year for both of my Ferraris through Grundy. No mileage limit, agreed value, and just some common sense limitations to coverage (it IS collector insurance) that are no problem with multiple cars. I highly suggest checking them out.

Man all those collector insurance companies: grundy,hagerty,chubb...none will insure a car when you live in a condo like me, they consider high risk bc its technically not a private, locked garage even though our security is tighter than ft knox and there's no joke around 50 exotics in the garage including a bugatti veyron. Im not sure if the others insure the cars at other properties and just ship the car here to miami, but Im with state farm bc I have to be, they're the only ones who would insure exotics while living at a condo. They're very reasonable too, they made me get an appraisal done for all my cars which sucked for $350/ each but they gave me what the appraisers told them and for the 575 it was $141,xxx and for the SLR it was $275,xxx which is well above what I paid for both.

That’s very cool....I do believe that’s what Enzo had in mind when he built them :) he put tools in the car extra bulbs all the things one might need while driving his car’s !!!!
I believe he is smiling down on people like us enjoying his wonderful machines.
As most of you know I put 100,000 miles on my 250 GT
    Cheers

Bill- 40 works for me. The last 575M and last Maranello was built around April 2005 (141822), so even those are nearly 13 years old. Mine is a November 2003 build, so she will be 15 this year.

    Hey Terry,
Is there any way to pinpoint the actual day of production I have everything for my car from the window sticker to every service record since the day it was bought?

I would like to have a big birthday party on the actual day ....:)

Bill- Not that I have seen. Ferrari probably has that data, but dragging it out of them would be a chore. Funny thing is, Marcel Massini has it for the older Ferraris. My old Daytona, 14009, was a 15 December 1970 build with assembly number 364, info provided by Marcel.
