Yeah yeah yeah,we all know about the bloody things that have been falling out of the sky ...............but answer the hard question...what's with the tree/ladder.....is that the only place it can get some moisture???
Yeah you should see how many Are parked around Beijing airport Steve....It must be killing Boeing financially....We are supposed to start preparing for the 777 X but I can't see the deliveries being on time because of all this....The Jumbo was the best think Boeing ever built....More robust than a Mac truck....
Lovely photos Gary, it’s a rare point of view indeed Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
As you know Adrian sometimes the camera can't capture what your Mk1 eyeballs see as well....Especially the northern lights...I think you need a really slow shutter speed and the old IPhone doesn't cut it....
Geez the Navajo brings back good memories Steve....Flew them out of Lord Howe Island in the late 80's and flew them extensively in the bush in Africa....Awesome Aeroplane...
Half your luck Gary, all my years in the north of England and I never got up far enough to see the lights, hopefully one day soon, here’s a daft question, are the windows of your aircraft polarised ? Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
The windows are not polarised Adrian.....In fact polarised sunglasses are great for cutting out glare but we can't use them...You can't see the LCD instruments with them on....Flying with them on would be like running in a pair of tracksuit pants....
Yep I thought about that, I’ve been using a new monitor for work this week (Small HD) and I can’t wear my sunnies, unless I crank my head to the side it’s black Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Where were you going out of Lord Howe in a Navajo? The only time I flew a Navajo was for the PA31 endorsement. After that I did a few hundred hours in a Chieftain which I did enjoy, although I was always very nervous for the first couple of minutes after takeoff. Every takeoff we did was absolute max weight and they don’t climb very well with two engines roaring, let alone one. Losing one would take you fairly quickly to the scene of the accident. I much preferred the Aerostar I flew later on. Superb performance and sweeter handling than pretty much anything I’ve ever flown. When are you supposed to be getting the 777X?
And now I’m the new face of the “Aussie aircraft thread”my career might be on the up Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
I was doing Port Macquarie ( oxley airlines ) ,Sydney, Canberra, Brisbane and the NSW mid north coast in the Chieftain VH- LHI... I much preferred the Navajo CR as it had a better power to weight ratio...We were supposed to get the 777 X end of next year / first quarter of 2021....Don't think that's going to happen now....Also with what's happening in HKG who knows what will happen long term...
Hmmm, perusing your post, the use/non use of punctuation can cause some questions. 1: I like you......,are waiting for an answer. 2:I like you are waiting......,for an answer. 3:What you said implies: I'm enjoying that you're waiting for an answer Or 4....probably what you actually mean. I,like you,are waiting for an answer.
