Yeah. There was a discussion on page 4 of this thread about real ME109s and the Spanish licence-built copies with the different engine. For mine only the originals are “real” ME109s.
It would be nice Steve,I’ve never seen one for sale Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app

Cheers guys,we do the horse racing occasionally in scone very pretty and the punters are rather more polished than at Sydney events for some reason, it’s always a pleasure working there Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
There's no perhaps about it,....you start running as fast as you can with a bloke/person up yer ass smackin' you with a whip to make you go faster and see how it feels. 'King barbaric 'sport' IMO.
Horses love running. You can tell when a horse is distressed, and it's rare that they are. Simple simon again.
Real ones basically never come up for sale, as they pretty much don’t exist. Certainly there would be less than a dozen and maybe only a couple that are flyable, which is amazing considering how many of them were made. There are likely several of the Spanish copies around the place, though. Happy to stand corrected, but that seems unlikely. Very impressive if true for sure. Those genuine old German warbirds are very thin on the ground indeed.
