Some interesting behind-the-scenes footage from Airbus' recent 5xA350 formation jaunt: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gI4jWYZLeHQ[/ame]
Speaking of PC-9s in formation, here's 2FTS today over Perth, proving they can count to more than the number of fingers+toes: http://imgur.com/wvw2l9P.jpg
No not one of those! Beechcraft T-6C Texan II's for RNZAF. Same as PC-9 but built in USA. photo at Glasgow by CASAMAC Image Unavailable, Please Login
Whom remembers this place from the 1985 AFR (as it was then) National Rally? Following the 250LM down the streets of the city on a Friday lunchtime sitting in the back of a 365GT4 2+2 sipping champagne.....priceless!!!!
Fell on the floor laughing at what was no doubt the height of hotel design at the time! What hotel was it?
Nice, but pity they didn't go for the PC-21. Fastest single-engined turboprop in the world. Pilatus Porter. Or what's left of it.
Very low hours on the Porter, but the guy who sent me the photos wants a quote to lift out the AS350.
Where is it? Somewhere in NZ? And, why is this page not loading properly on my iPad? It's all squashed to one side.
Not in NZ and FIIK why its squashed - I am not going to do the lift as I am retired - did I tell you?
If he just wants a quote, you don't have to do it. Get a quote from someone who can do it, add 50%, job done! I'm dribbling on now in the hope that the next page won't be squashed.... It's bloody annoying.
The whole thread is squashed into the left side of the screen. This is the only page that does it, may have something to do with the YouTube vid? About to post a pic, hopefully it'll appear on a new page...
Hoorah! Not dissimilar to the last one, but name the three aircraft types in this pic. (I'm only sure of one - the one I was flying!) And a bonus point for the location. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Getting .... code here - are you flying or on the ground? There is a meteor shower due about now - look out the window - if it is very bright you have two choices.
Sorry about that. Was just trying to move it onto the next page. For some reason page 11 of this thread is completely stuffed on my iPad. Working fine now on page 12. Normal service can resume.
