The new tabs on the floor in front of the rear tire? To direct air around the rear tire??

The ones closest to the rear tire (short openings/tabs) is from the "wash" or turbulence from the rear tire "hitting" the floor (this I know for sure). The long openings (outside the floor) running along the axis of floor/car are to expell any turbulence from the sidepod and any other turbulence from the rear wheel is my guess.

The Ferrari updates are a blatant and clear breach of the regulations as the sole purpose of these updates are to gain a competitive advantage over Mercedes which the rules clearly state is not allowed. When Toto makes the protest the only way I see Ferrari being able to respond is to say that the updates are solely to gain a competitive advantage over Red Bull which at present is allowed by the rules. Ferrari will need to cleverly argue that the updates have built into them which cannot be seen an algorithm that makes them malfunction if the Ferrari is about to overtake the Mercedes on track.

Getting pounded right now here in Corpus. This system over us is taking a north westerly flow.

San Antonio and Austin will get it if it holds.

The problem is if a Ferrari team member goes to take a piss without FIA approval Mercedes will clain that Ferrari is violating every rule in the book............

And the FIA will agree with Mercedes.

His pants look like some of the oil field workers that work here in Corpus and the Eagle Ford Basin (they have that reflective band on the bottom).

So this makes it easier to change the race afterwards in the favour of the FIA :D Now you can at least argue that the car passed scrutineering before but like that they can come up with **** afterwards if they need a change?
I think about every race series has scrutineering, but the one with the most money and prestige involved not??? How does that make sense?
