I know we went to Big Bucks once. Something central to the metromess would be nice. Alternatively, anyone have a big screen and a fridge full of adult beverages?
I can't make it this year because of a SRX7 race. A few weeks ago a FCA member offered their house, but I haven't heard from them since. I think it was Don Rose.
I think we could entertain some people at my place. Theatre is done and working, and would make for a good place to watch the race. Lemme know if this could work.
I would say the M.A.T. if we can't find a house in the DFW area, but the crowd that usually hangs out at the M.A.T. for the F1 races will be racing at MSR with me.
I would vote for Jano's house. Where does Amir live? I don't like the M.A.T. - it's way too smoky in there. And it's waaaay south of LBJ.

Houston guys we can do it at my house....That's totally fine with me. And yes, there is no problem cranking up the sound . The only thing I ask, is that you please don't bring your 360 because I'm sick of seeing them!!! Haha, j/k . The more the merrier.

Will give the stragglers time to get there prior to the race, and those that are prompt the time to view 1/4 of your house (if we walk fast) I assume you have SpeedTV? Nick, I apologize in advance. I was just informed that I'm supposed to pick up 2 relatives tomorrow from the airport, as they are staying with us for 4 days. This means, that my place is a no go for the race this weekend. I do have Speed TV, but I promise for the next race, we'll have some advance planning to set things up.
OK, that being said, I know of a viewing party for the race, held here in Houston. PM me for details, any interested parties. NEXT time we'll get down and do the gator at Amil's!!

Thank you very much Jano for hosting. Sorry I couldn't make it. I was so tired after racing that I actually fell asleep during the F1 race! Well, you can't blame me with flashbacks of the 2002 season. I did see several FC'ers at MSR. Including Greg, Ron, txhansen, and kverges who were racing. Jim Muise and Will were hanging around too.
I was in Houston... was afraid I'd miss the race, but managed to convince the hotel's bar that one of their big plasma screens should be playing it... they had good martinis... but the rest of the bar (other than my family) was quite uninterested.
i injuyed having everyone at my house for the F1 party.had grate time.lots of beer left but no problem.
