    I have been looking around for a 550/575 for a while now, ever since I sold my 550 and bought my 360. I wanted only blk/blk, 6spd and no shields. I just about gave up until last weekend. I called the guy that I sold my car to and it turned out he was thinking about selling it, so we made a deal. He put about 3k miles on it (now has 9700) and had the 30k done. I picked it up last monday and have been working on it. I pulled the bumpers and had the side markers removed, lowered it and installed new Pirellis, 355's out back! I plan on getting some headers from Harmony and been in contact with Stephens on all mods. This time it's not going anywhere.. Now I need to find a matching blk/blk 360 instead of my red one. Man I love this car!

    I think it takes away from the clean lines of the car. Neither one of my cars have shields..

    SW, excellent work. I love the story and the car has always been one of my favorites too! Very happy for you, must be a nice reunion. So are we getting a stateside Stephens lightweight special??

    I knew a fella who did the same with his ex-wife but in the end he could not get her to shine or to look as good as what you did with that 550!

    Very nice car!

    Cgrats!

    I emailed you about your 550 asking why you sold it and what you thought of it before I bought my 575. Guess the email didn't make it thru. I used to be on the CorvetteForum and LS1Tech with a Supercharged C5.

    Very happy with my 575 also. The car's lines are growing on me as the Maranello ages. No shields here either. I like shields on most colors, but not on black.

    P.S. I guess it would be sacriligous (sp?) to run Nitrous?

    They are not chrome, they are full polished 3 piece Fikses. I'm not much into chrome either..

    Very nice collection. Nice Blk on Blk C6 ZO6 tucked away with some 70's muscle to back that up.

    Cripes, how can you not tell the difference between chrome & polished?

    Nevertheless, they look super, and I think that is reason enough to have them. Bravo.

    Thinking of selling the red 360 to make way for a Nero one 'eh?.. I bet you wont have any trouble moving that, its a stunner too.

    Am considering an '07 Z06 TT... Going back and forth...
    Yellow or Black...

    Not sure what else is really in that power range for under 1 Mil.

    I like it, it's one of 2 white hardtops ever done, 650TT +. I also have 3 LPE ZO6's, '01 427(my track car), '04 Head/cam, '06 cam/headers. I'm daily driving a 600 hp Lexus SC300 and they just finished doing a twin-turbo to my Viper, makes 1300+ rwh..The new Z is a great all around car.
