    Hi,
    Just got a 2008 F430 basic model and am doing basic maintenance and noticed that the CTEC MUS 4.3 does not have the Ferrari Logo but does have a proprietary plug. Checked battery compartment but could not find the female connection. Scoured the bonnet, checked owners manual. I have the same tender on another car and can connect from battery using the more general leads. Any hints? Thanks.

    Under the dash, around glove compartment area as the battery is located at the passenger footwell.

    Found it!,
    Definitely well hidden.
    Now I can put back that humongous fire extinguisher blocking the battery compartment.

    Look for a small flat area on the outboard side in the footwell, directly above it
