yup SA rules are different to other states not getting any easier, if you went to the US and said you had to sell 50% of your property to another company you own to avoid paying a tax and pay stamp duty again on the way they would put you into the Betty Ford Clinic multiple holding rates in SA are insane............if you sell up and only buy shares they dont charge a share tax, but they know that landowners dont change goverments.
