What are your best movie of 2003? The Lord Of the Ring: Return Of the King (these movies shows how much spirit Hollywood has) Last Samurai (need I say more?) Finding Nemo (surprising graphics with wonderful dubbing by Ellen & Albert) Master & Commander (historical epic but very entertaining) X-man 2 (better than Matrix 2 nor Terminator 3) Charlie's Angels 2 (I don't know why but I enjoyed the movie so much) Of course, I haven't seen all the movie released in 2003, so I am using your listings to buy DVD in the future. We all like Ferrari, so we have some common taste! Yoshi Ace
Bad Boys 2 was a pretty good movie.not sure if gangs of New york was 2003 or 2002 but that was a good movie as well
I didn't get a chance to see anything I liked this year. I just rent DVD's & that about it. Hulk- SUCKED!!! X-man 2-SUCKED!! Finding Nemo-have only seen the first 15 minutes, I gave the DVD to my nieces. Bad Boys 2-It was OK, but not the best. Terminator 3-bought the DVD & i sucked sooooo bad. Matrix 2-bought this too & didn't like it. I work alot of hours so I have little time to do anything, I didn't see Office Space until two months ago, it rocked.
hah, old school was great. Impala Im not sure when they made Gangs of New York, 02 or 03. But, that would be my choice for 03, or Road to Perdition (might also be 02).
Something's Got to Give - Very funny. Jack Nicholson was great. I haven't seen Last Samurai - heard that its really good. Charlie's Angels 2 was awful
All those people I talked, I am the only one who liked Charlie's Angels 2. I think this movie is much better than Matrix 2, Terminator 3, Bad Boys 2 ( all those sequels). I do admit I have weakness for attractive ladies & cars... I heard many good things for "Love Actually", "Lost In Translation", and "Cold Mountain". It was funny for me to review Solipsist's SUCK list. I do agree with most, but I have all these DVD. Of course, my kids has something to do with these. West 662, Road to Perdition is 2002 movie, isn't it? I do like this movie and own DVD. It is based on Japanese comic according to the interview on Hanks. Gang of New York was a good movie, and I have DVD already, but it won't make my list for 2003. I will buy "Whalerider" & probably "Old Schools". Bought "Seabuisket", "Uptown Girls", and "Underworld" (Beast's recommendation) today. I watch these movies when I eat lunch or dinner, and before I fall sleep. Most DVD movies are viewed in 2 to 3 separate time. I like its convenience.
Now there is one movie that i forgot to mention and i dont know why but if you are into comedy. Then "Bad Santa" had to be the most funny movie of 03
TonyH, I don't recognize the title LOTR- ROTHK. I even checked on the internet, but couldn't find any on this. Who is the director? Is it American movie? Do any of you know the French movie "Michelle Buiyon". It is based on a comic, and my friend in Japan said it is the best car movie he ever saw. Maybe Euro member can comment on this movie, and I hope to get it on DVD in Japan. After seeing Kill Bill Vol 1, I went to Fry's and got 4 of Street Fighter movies with Sonny Chiba. He used to come over to my uncle's house when I was little in 60's & early 70's. Never thought I will watch his movie in English in the USA then.....
Don't know if it's a 2003 or 2004 release, but if it was 2003, my vote goes to In America. Spectacular movie. Lost in Translation was pretty good, but not the tops. Honorable mention to Matchstick Men. Total surprise at the end. Was Catch Me If You Can a 2003 release? That one was very well done.
forgot all about Underworld it was a allright movie (the Vampires were a bunch gun toting pus*ies though)
