I'm not happy with the dull, dirty look of my lower panels on my 328. Below the doors and bodywork. What is the best way to bring these back to better condition? Hand washing and scrubbing doesn't really seem to get them very clean.

On my 88 328, I just masked the painted panels and sprayed the black valances with SEM black trim paint. Just clean them first but no need to prime or anything. The valence is already textured so once painted they look deep black and great . . .

Bring your car to a paint shop and or a pro detail guy and get it fixed.

There is some stuff called "Back to Black" by Mother's that works pretty well but of course it's temporary.
