    With everything that has been going on lately on the F1 "Circus", we as a collective have missed the MOST important thing: Will "Big Tex" grace us again this year with a TV appearance at the USGP? :)

    I assume yes, but with the championship really over it could go either way.

    I was planning on going [only a 5 hour drive from the SDTX border], but I will not waste my money to see Hamilton win in U.S. soil again.

    I HAVE a thread started already in this Section!! LOL!

    You know, there are so many roving cameras on the ground, it has been TOTAL luck to have been on screen TWICE!
    The other year they caught Valeria and I at the Bar, during Rain Delay.
    They all feed to the Media Center, where in slow moments some FIA guy is trying to decide what to "throw up there"....
    I will come back later and post the cuties they MISSED with last year's shot!

    I think it's my clothing.
    I have all the TH years, some FILA and they really should not have put a "Tobacco' shirt out onto the airwaves!

    But I have enough for the whole upcoming weekend.
    And if she shows, my little Baton Rouge sweetie will be outfitted quietly in Shell gear, head to toe....and she has VERY nice toes!

    The other odd thing is the disconnect between COTA departments.
    Media obviously did not know that I left the Volunteer Staff after some acrimony with a female Manager.
    I know.....WHAT!??

    But I am widely recognized by ALL the different sections based upon my first four years, so Stadium People (seat assignment), Security Staff (Grey Shirts) and actual Track Ops (FIA on this weekend) are all very cool when they see me. I have even sold some VIP Suites for them, during MotoGP and IMSA weekends.
    They have suntan lotion and breath mints on that floor of MSG, never had a problem "visiting"....:D

    I also have a Top Secret phone number, not giving his ID away, his day job is at the State Comptrollers office.
    I took him to the FCA reception last year. Sometimes something simple like that, letting someone "into our world" for a moment, can get you "Future Consideration".

    That was who I had on the phone when Security stopped me with the Four Young Swifties.
    (They were Legal Age), and to have him on the phone lets the Grey Shirts know, I am legit.
    We were in!!!

    Long answer as it's really "who the H*&^%&^%*% knows!!??"

    Please come this year.
    I warn people "nothing last forever" and even if Mercedes gets the best of our beloved team (managed by the craziest wankers I have ever seen !),
    we will still have danced with pretty girls at the Broken Spoke, partied with Jimmy Vaughan, eaten at Blacks BBQ and Matt's El Rancho, and ended the evening at 3AM at Club Expose!!!!!

    They actually have let me back in!
    I will work mornings all three days, then send for my girl, via Uber or helicopter, for the afternoon!!
    I am on guest computer, I will go back and build this up with the "out takes" from my famous exploits!!!

    Closing the downtown South Congress bars at 3AM, I have to report for work at 7AM, for the 7:30 "Gates Open".....

    I really may end up taking a tent and bedroll, and blending in with the RVs on the Hill!
    When you see a guy bathing and changing outfits in the Turn 1 Men's Room, well, that's ME!!

    Of course if she shows, I have NO idea how I will handle it all.
    I will rest up when I am dead.....

    This one was working at COTA until I made her my date for the race!
    South American.....Uber driver in Austin maybe she will pick YOU up!

    FIA guy saw me get her in on Race Day and said "Nice work, dude!"

    She went to MotoGP too, but works ALL the time.

    Oh this was funny, at the Shell station halfway back to Houston, they did not have a whole lot of enthusiasm for "decorating"!!
