    About a year ago I went for an early(7am or so) morning drive through the mountains here in Northern California. I did notice a small flock of birds on one of the mountain roads however they flew off before I got to them. After winding through the mountains and then hugging the Pacific Ocean North, I again went through the mountains and back home.
    After each ride, I do a quick inspection/cleaning of the car. Since most of the dirt is in the front I examined the front first. I noticed something. Got closer and to my shock and horror there was a dead bird. I am guessing one of the birds didn't get away or maybe the F430 took it out later.

    Streamlined cars often suck birds into their windstream with fatal effects. Old VW Beetles had a shape that really seemed to pull them in. Bird thinks it is going to make it by and then, whoops.
