Chamber size yes, and I can see how you can measure compression by the reduced chamber size but you need to know the initial chamber size before you can do any calculations but just never seen this method used before

Yeah, understand re balanced engines but I've always checked that the compressions were within tolerances and for performance engines the tolerance is just a lot tighter, this was a way I had never considered
