Does anyone know if and when Hotwheels are going to release the Enzo 1/18 in Black (Nero) ?
Apparently it's been released, but i can't say that for sure, just from hear-say... i'm eager to add one to my collection, as well... If i find something out, you can rest assured, i'll post it here...
Apparently, the black 1:18 Enzo is slated to be officially released in "early" 2004. But, Mattel being Mattel, 99.99% of the production run is being sent to Djibouti, Bombay and Siberia.
Cavallino probably has a better model on its website. In fact I am sure of it. Check them out if you want it quick fast and in a hurry, or you can wait until Mattel makes up their mind in where to ship them to.
How come it seems all the toy stores carry lots of Hot Wheels stuff but I never see any of the 1:18 Hot Wheels?
Even in most of the hobby stores I've looked in I c'ant seem to find them. But right in the mall near me there is one of those little stand that sit right in the mid. of the malln and he has some. He is asking 40 each, I said forget it.
$40 for a 1:18 Enzo...? That's insane... i've seen a few in regular stores, here and there for $10 less- some times, more...! Are you referring to the Walt Whitman mall...? If not, coincidentally, there's a guy there who's got the same setup, in the middle of the corridor... He had some Enzos not too long ago, but then sold out... i don't know what he was asking...
Prugna, There are tons of mail order options, both in North America and Europe. No need to get ripped off at the mall.
They ALL are...! i haven't been there in a while; they have a KB i liked to go to; went all the way out there just for the KB (and The Sharper Image)...
What are some of the stores you check out? Toys R us=no luck, KB=no luck, Target=no luck, K mart=no luck, the only one I did really well at was when Big lots was having that sale for 9.99.
Where is Big Lots...? i've heard of 'em before but can't recall seeing one... Funny you should mention not having any luck; all weekend last weekend, i was trolling for toys... i hit every toy store i could think of in a very broad circumference of my house, but to no avail... Then, Sunday night, i go to Path Mark (Path Mark!) to get some Cherry Coke and they have, sitting on an end cap, horDES of 1:18 Hot Wheels cars... Not only that, but a majority of them were... you ready...? get this: Ferrari 360 Spiders...! Advertised at $19.99, they were right around the same place the local toy places charge; however - and this is the real kicker - when i brought it up to the register, it rang up for $9.99...! Total was $10.86 with tax...!!! UNBELIEVABLE...! Hey, will you be at the party in Paramus tonight...?
(Yeah, that's spelled right...) Are you serious...? WTF is going on...? LOL, i never thought this day would come, but... ...i need to find another Path Mark...!!!
