That blue car used to belong to the father of an Fchat member but it was destroyed in a fire long ago

My Slutmobile is a chopped 512M but its not a Koenig, my race car is a Koenig

I still have a poster of that original Blue Koenig from when i was a kid, i found it last week whilst searching for parts in the Attic, she was a dream, pity its gone!

Just want to know how much difference not having the strakes on both of your car looks on it.
I tried to remove it on my 87TR with the orig. wheels, but now I have a 18" upgraded wheels I
might try removing it again, except could not decide to fill in the holes.

The blue car was in Bethesda Md. and owned by a guy named Scott M., we did an EFI system on it 17 years ago or so. I could be wrong but I talked to the owner a few years back and understood the car was still in his collection. Another yellow Koenig roadster that was just a twin turbo set up unlike the turbo/compressor system on the blue car did burn in a house fire in Jupiter Fla., that car was owner by Buddy W., we did a Motec system on it around 15 years ago.

Would be a shame if the blue car was gone, hope not. There are some not very good photos of it on our website somewhere.

Didn't Mike Tyson also own a Koenig Testarossa at one time? I believe I remember seeing it for sale in duPont Registry several years ago.

 

That car has Koenig bodywork, Brembo brakes, HRE wheels and a Norwood Performance stage 1 w/ intercoolers turbo package.

Vijay can give you the full rundown, maybe he can dive in and tell you about his car.

Thanks for the run down on the car. What would this conversion cost to do on a good doner car? How reliable are these once you twin turbo the 512 Tessta engine and what would you say the car can deliver as far as performance?

a friend of mine said Tyson owned 200 cars so I imagine he had a few TRs

 

What a shame. I remember that car, and remember seeing pics of it at Norwood's shop. I had that R & T issue and drooled over that car for a long time. Sad to hear that it's gone.

 

I thought Tyson has a red one w/ 1000hp. I remember reading it and salivating in Dupont Reg back in the 90s.

 

He had several TRs, yellow, blue, red black, Koenig, Spyder, twin turbo

The dude had every flavor under the sun
