Oh, and by the way, the hub puller is not part of the kit either.
This is the correct contents, as in the box, and all there.

The late Will Haible had six original tool kits which he acquired when he purchased the Chinetti parts collection, they were all different. The serial number of the car it was intended for was hand written on the top cover.
Is it possible that owners could specify which tools they wanted in the wooden box?

David, a very interesting point, but in the Ferrari world, I have come to discover that anything is possible.
although, the boxes, were not really designed to hold more than what they were designed for, for instance, in mine, my son added the extractor and the spark, plug tool, but not very well fitting. Kind regards, Alberto.

Bob is a friend. He is as good as there is at what he does. Good luck with the sale.

The toolkit will be off the market as of this Thursday. Family emergency forces rescheduling my departure.
Back into the safe it will go.

Will still be responding to PM's if inclined to contact me. Please, serious enquiries only.

    Regards, Alberto

Thank you Eddie! No, not really, but at least it is not my immediate family.
Not that it makes it so much much better...unfortunately.

I really would like to know your opinion(s) why this kit will not sell.
Just curious, as not an everyday set, actually a rather unique one.

I see 365 kits on sale for over 15K, not insanely rare, yet this is a unicorn
with incredible provenance, not pukka I know, yet Bob Smith is not quite 'anybody'.

    Thoughts? Thank you.

    Regards,
    Alberto

The late Sherman Wolff loaned me the piston ring compressor from his kit which I had reproduced by a CNC machinist.
I have a few left if anyone is interested.
