    Hi Randy.

Don't anyone tell you that Boranis did not come from the Factory. My 1978 308 GTS (black on black) came from the Factory with the wire wheels. I ordered the car new from Maranello Sports in Toronto. The car was sold soon after I purchased it later that year to Beverly Hills Motor Cars in Los Angelas(after showing it at a Frerrari meet at Watkins Glen NY)....I had a 1976 glass 308 GTB before that. I wish I still had both cars.

    Regards, Maury

    Two things:

    1) You're replying to a 10 year old, long dead thread.

    2) Bobs308 aka Randy hasn't been seen on Ferrarichat for 1 year and 49 weeks, so you're tapping your keyboard in vein I'm afraid.

As for your 308 coming from the factory with Borrani wire wheels - Reading through that 10 year old thread, according to the Ferrari factory, no 308 GTB/GTS came from the factory with Borrani wire wheels fitted.

Did you see the car arrive from the factory, or was there a delay at the dealership before you could take ownership? (when the dealer could have carried out a conversion to wire wheels)
