Hey Dan , are those dyno sheets from my car ?
Tubi Style made straight through pipes to replace the muffler boxes for 550/575s. I just sold mine but maybe they did the same for 456s?
Tks, the exhaust pipes and mufflers of the 550 are kind of interchangeable with the 456. The flanges and attachment points are the same, the difference is only in the length and in the angle of the terminal pipes. Do you have a picture of the Tubi straight pipes?
I would say 40-50 hp if you pull the precats on a 575 and replace with tubular manifolds. Hopefully I get to do it one day.
Exactly. We have sold 80+ 550/575 pipes with no issues besides some complaining it to loud with aftermarket mufflers.
Not sure to be honest. I have them saved by customer name on my dyno computer but not on my regular PC.

Dan, the pipes in those boxes look different with their lenghtwise cuts and pipe ends finishes when compared to the other closeups, why the difference? Regards, Doede
Doede, The early 456 has a flanged setup that is bolted in place. The 456M has a slip fit style pipe. The hard part about the slip fit style was standard sized piping fitting into metric OEM Ferrari pipe. The expanded end of the pipe was simple but we did toss a few on each batch by expanding to much. The other end is hard to see even in person but it's 1-2 thousandths of an inch smaller then the pipes original diameter. Originally we had to hammer the 2.25" inch pipe into place and use a torch to get it out. We figured most owners would not want to deal with this forced fitment. We had to buy tooling to reduce the pipe in our eaton leonard end forming machine. As you can imagine it takes a tremendous amount of force to do so. Another issue was stainless has "memory" so it wants to bounce back into shape. It looks simple but was not that easy.
Alfredo, here's a picture. Sorry about the quality and that it's taken a few days to find. (The black bar is the cross member from the chassis). I sold these to "GTS Bruce" but at least they'll give you an idea of what's available. Philip Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thank you. They look as they would fit on a 456 with no problem, except for the length of the tail pipes that would have to be increased: the inboard ones for sure, the outboard ones possibly. What is the price again?
I haven't put them on yet. It's still winter here. On occasion you might find a set on E Bay. I don't think tubi makes them anymore? Stebro says they make them but I would not send them more than a small amount to start and the rest upon acceptable product delivery. Would be nice if Bradan or Fabspeed made them. GTS Bruce
Here are some pics on the car. Sorry no audio - sounded like crap on my phone...not true of the real sound. Erik Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Here are some pictures illustrating the 550 center resonator outlet restrictions. Similar restrictions are present on the 456 center resonators... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
They look good, Erik. Mine are five years old now and have toned nicely. So will yours. Barry Image Unavailable, Please Login
THANK YOU BRADEN!!!!!. Put them on today on my 95 456. No problems, easy installation. For the first time this car sounds like a FERRARI. I have tubi mufflers sweet crackling sound- like last years F1. Love them. And the shipping and service were great too.
Do you have any more? I just bought my 2002 456M last month and thought I would be keeping it stock for a long while, however it is just way too quiet for my taste. Eliminating the resonator will be a good first step I think. Paul
Do it. I also have an 02 456M, you may even find that it isn't loud enough, but I think that the sound fits the car. I took me about two hours to do the change out without a lift, easy. The sound difference is really subtle, I don't think you will go wrong trying it.
