What changes have to be made to the car to get it street legal in the USA? California requirements might be even tougher!

A Challenge car is a race car, sold on a bill of sale; no title, not a street car or "street legal", etc.

 

Does a buyer by Ferrari T's and C''s need to wait a year before they sell their new car?

 

I don't believe challenge cars fall into this category.

My guess is Ferrari wants the car burning gas... Killing brakes and body panels. That's the real revenue for these cars.

Pictures aren't required, just generally a good idea to get buyer engagement. The seller is not refusing to provide pictures, he said he didn't know how to include them and he's emailing them upon request - as is his prerogative. In the meantime, I'll reach out to the seller to see if he'd like some technical assistance.

We have plenty of discussion forums and garage threads if you want to go look at pretty pictures right this very minute - feel free to make use of them.

Hey Andrew! Why when I try to upload a 2.9m pic the system says it must be below 5m size? Am I missing something?

 

In addition to a 5MB size limit, there's also a pixel upload limit of about 20 million pixels, which equates to a theoretical maximum resolution upload of around 4400x4400 pixels. However, the forum software compresses and resizes to 800x800 for display, so that's optimum resolution for images in threads.

Martin Burrowes has been racing in the Ferrari Challenge series - quite successfully too - for a few years now.

Pictures would be a bit irrelevant, as if you are buying a new Challenge car, you will most likely be putting your own personal livery / wrap on it.

A bit curious as to why the car is for sale. Not racing this year? Already have another car to run? But his reasons are his own. I don’t need to know.

 

Martin is the real deal. No BS with him.

 

is this car still available? Very interested, especially if it is still in new condition i.e. no test/shake down day. Looking for a fresh one, just wrecked mine in testing.

If it doesn't work out mine is on consignment at FoW. 2018 11k kms with Evo kit. Serviced up but does need fuel cell recertification if you are gonna do Challenge otherwise a great car.
