    To make a resume, we do not deny anything of this story or the different complaints.
    To defend yourself, you attack another person instead of proving your good faith.
    We have all understood, we have to trust you and send you money in Spain for cars that would be in Japan, cars that nobody has seen and whose papers are absent as well as the true identity of the owner.
    And you are ridiculing yourself with this false story of Mercedes where it is not possible to know the name of the shipping company that would have transported it.
    Where is the camera ?

    While we're at it, it would be a disservice to this thread and the subscribers of Ferrari
    Chat to leave out another central character to this plot.

    Mr. Arthur C. O'Brien of Wellington, Florida who is also tied directly to Toshi Ueno and
    practically a family member of Peter Brotman, the Pennsylvania broker busted by the
    FBI for similar type fraud in Spain and served a federal prison sentence in the U.S.

    If Ballot (Harmand), Ueno and O'Brien are using Brotman's M.O. as inspiration, they're
    certainly doing a bang up job.

    This is going to sound bad, but scammers like this, would not be around if people just did their homework, and didn't rely on a middle man to make purchases. If I Personaly can see or touch what I'm buying, I don't buy it..period.

    Update on Fred Ballot (AKA Christian Harmant), he has recently been in Manila, Philippines at a known
    address. He has also been spotted in Japan where, of course, my Japanese colleagues have been
    notified.

    Wow, this is an amazing thread... I see Peter Brotman in LA all the time at car shows and auctions driving nice cars and working with other well-known car brokers. I didn't know he was involved with this sort of crap.

    Fred Ballot arrested for fraud in 2019.

    His running buddy, Toshi Ueno has been arrested numerous times for fraud
    as well.

    The scam is the same, take money for deposits on deals for high end cars. Keep the
    deposit money and deliver exactly nothing.

    I am curently in contact with Benoit Meignien of MBM autos regarding a car purchase overseas.
    Does anyone else have anything positive or negative to comment before I spend my money?
