Celestiq’s new 38 speaker system may take the cake as the preeminent auto experience now.

My favorite car sound system is the NAIM upgrade on my Bentley CGT. It is hauntingly good and one of my favorite feautures of the car.

In Bentley vehicles, both Naim for Bentley and Bang & Olufsen offer premium audio experiences, but they cater to different listening preferences. Naim is known for its precision and audiophile-level sound reproduction, while Bang & Olufsen excels at creating immersive, surround sound

GT interior must be an interesting environment acoustically; technically a coupe, but much more spacious than your average two door

Sound systems have come a looong way in cars. The old(or not so old) mega subwoofer in the trunk with vibrating body panels was nice as a kid but the sophisticated systems of today using computer simulations has made in car listening more pleasant. No it doesn’t recreate the soundstage as well as a proper home setup but clarity is there. As video killed the hi end store and created the home theater, the high end manufacturers including B&O, Naim, and others went into the auto audio business much to our advantage.
Does a Ferrari need such a thing? For the ICE cars probably not. The coming FEV quite probably to make up for the loss of the mechanical sounds of ICE..
Does a Ferrari owner want such a thing? Probably yes depending on the owner’s preference.
In all my years of driving Ferraris I probably turned the audio system on less than 5 times- sitting in bumper to bumper traffic to keep me from falling asleep or having to talk to the driver next to me asking “how much she cost?”
