C8 Colors

I think that new Hypersonic Grey is going to be "the business!"

I hope to be able to order my new ZO6 in that color.

 

I picked electric blue, because you didn't give an option for Elkhart Lake Blue.

I chose silver because if it gets dusty it doesn't look bad. I drive it everyday. I think my second choice might be the metallic blue. I don't understand the Smurf blue but young people seem to like it.

If I get a Z06 I will go with metallic red with a black and tan interior with black center sections for the seats and probably silver stripes. I've seen a C8 with this metallic red in person and its pretty cool.

 

the above would look better if the tan was grey. more cohesive design.

 

The Chevy configurator looks like it left out the Orange and the Brown. Wonder why? They are supposedly modifying those colors slightly for 2022.

 

Yah you don't get a lot of choices like Ferrari. Its a mass produced car.

Corvette interior gray to me looks white.

It’s a tough call. I was swinging between carbon matrix (off white), silver, and red. Silver to worry less about it looking dirty or getting minor scuffs.I’ve also grown to love the silver with Bordeaux colored interior combo. The red looks really good though. Honestly, all of the available colors looks pretty good on this car.

 

Sebring Orange, followed by new for 2022 Amplify Orange

 

Smooth out the look by getting the side scar front piece and the 2 rear grills in body color. There is an optional gray with black interior. I have it in my silver C8.

 

The Arctic White is growing on me and now I'm obsessing as to whether or not to change my order.

I have a white one now and really appreciate how much less work it is to keep clean - or at least appear to be. I would have washed the black one at least twice as often as I have this one.

I'd really like to see a black car in person before it's too late to change the order.

 

Harken back to the original C1- any color you want as long as it is white!

Red mist. I saw a C8 last week in it and its amazing. Ferrari would charge you an extra 20 grand for this. GM? $1K

I saw one in Erie last week and I agree, what a brilliant color.

In person, this color really pops!

 

GM should change the yellow to this. I haven't seen too many yellow C8s. The yellow they have looks a little green to me like a highlighter.

Saw a black C8 driving thru our little hamlet yesterday. I'm beginning to feel that black may be the "best" color since it camouflages the boomerang and the ugly butt so much.

 

I agree but black is SOOOO high maintenance!

The sweet spot for me will be the dark silver (hypersonic gray). It'll hide a fair amount of the ugliness while not being too terrible to keep clean.

 

I saw a black one at my dealer and immediately dismissed the notion of going with white, or any other color.

I've had three black vettes and my 328's black, so I'm used to the work involved.

It's worth it.

Just get the side scar etc done in body color. Smoother less angular look.
