California - what are the maintenance costs?

    I’m considering purchasing a California, most likely 2013 or up for a special, exotic summer fun car. Looking for feedback from existing owners on the maintenance costs, does it require a small fortune to maintain these cars?

    I think the last time I guestimated the #'s - and believe me this is back of the envelope stuff - I think it was $1,000/month all in - gas, insurance, warranty, maintenance, etc.
    I don't daily drive mine, but I drive it a lot, and all year. Mine is a 2011, 2012 and after come w/ the 7 years of maintenance. And, if it is a summer-only fun car, then you'll pay less in gas, and may be able to work a better deal on insurance. I would advise not to forego a warranty in case a big ticket item like the hard top or transmission goes bonkers. Welcome...T

    Bought 11/15
    I have warranty 4K/yr. first year with purchase
    stickies 2500
    Tires 1500
    Curb rash x2 350
    Air con condenser and other stuff 3500 covered by warranty.
    Service covered until this year.


    Nothing else but gas and oil.

    Bargain. Total averages 4K per year mostly warranty.
