More than welcome. I said it earlier in basically every thread here on supercharging, turbos etc. I'm still very surprised that this set was not sold more. It's probably the "purist" influence but than again, its totally reversable and installation took one weekend only. And, it was complete and well designed with durability as first priority and a truly bolt on product. It was not cheap btw. The additional push is really great and does provide all what the cars' look promised to start with.
st@ven, Nice clean project!! Seriously impressive! A couple of questions: Was 240.9 rwhp your best dyno run? How much was the boost pressure at that hp?
Thank you! the 240.9 rwhp was achieved on the first and only run i made after install. As soon as I have the car back on the road i will do some tuning on ignition to see if there's more Hp available. Due to the pretty conservative setting of the timing in this first attempt i'm sure there some left pressure was set accoring to Amerspec setting at 0.45 Bar (6.5 PSI)
After a long time of incidental work on the car the paintshop is gearing up now for the final lap. Car is beautiful again And almost ready for final painting Image Unavailable, Please Login
I'm sure you will like it! I'm really excited on this again. After the crash in 2011 I was seriously considdering selling of all the Ferrari's. It just did not feel oke anymore. Slowly but steadily the feeling came back and currently I am really anxious to drive her again somewhere this year. For real tracking I decided to buy something else. I cannot imagine the pain after another crash. Probably buy a lotus for that. Or even a Miata. I will use the Ferrari for occasional tracking but will really try not to get myselfe into the " whatever-is-in-front-of-me-I-MUST-overtake-mode" again with it. After the paintjob it will be simply be to nice to hurt.
Miata/MX5 seems to be tremendous fun regarding the fast growing racing class with the DNRT in Holland. No real sparring partner for my Alfa, but still.
And now with clearcoat. I think It looks stunning!! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
PLEEEAAASSSE say you're putting the gold-hued Lister Bell coffin spokes on her! I've always told my car friends that navy/gold with those rims would be the most incredible color for a Group B-type build. Stunning!
not the coffin spokes which for some reason I never fancied. I will put the 17" compomotives back on, but painted in gold Thank you! They will be on both front and rearlid as wel of coarse. Thank you Menno!
Thanks guys, appreciatie the support as usual. You're right but sometimes life takes unexpected turns. Moving to The Middle east, a diverse, etc. Now all is settled I can focus again on nicer things.
